Almost all of our bikes are shipped about 90% assembled. For the most part you will need to attach the front tire, pedals, seat and handlebars. You will not have to assemble the brakes, gears or chain. If you are not comfortable completing the assembly, please take your new bike to a local bike shop and they can complete it for you. If your purchase a helmet or other safety gear at your local bike shop, chances are they will do the assembly for free. We recommend that a trained professional assemble your bike to insure maximum performance and safety. For some manufacturer's, assembling the bike yourself will void the warranty.

- Who Can Work on and/or assemble My Bike?
First and foremost - you can! If you are handy, you should be able to handle the assembly and do proper maintenance on your bike with no problems. Most bikes come 90% assembled already. You will need to attach the front tire, seat and handlebars. Please see the product instructions for details. We do recommend however, that you rbike be assembled by a trained technician in your local bike shop. This is to insure that you are set up to get maximum performance and safety from your bike. Some manufacturers require professional assembly to maintain their warranty. All of our bikes use Standard Bicycle Industry parts and any local bike shop should be able to help you. If you need a part, please contact us and will work quickly with the manufacturer to take care of the problem for you.

- Can You Ship my bike fully assembled?
No. A fully assembled bike would not fit in a box deliverable by USPS, UPS or FedEx. Unless otherwise noted, our bikes are shipped 90% assembled. All you need to do is attach the front tire, seat and handlebars. If you are all thumbs or in any way uncomfortable finishing the assembly, please take the bike to your local bike shop and they will do it for you. Most manufacturers require professional assembly to maintain the warranty on the bike. Every bike shop as a certified tech who will make sure the bike is assembled properly and safe. We recommend having a professional finish the bike assembly for you. Most shops will not charge for this service in an effort to make you a customer. If they don't charge you, reward them with the purchase of a helmet or some other bike gear.
